Set in the foothills of the Pennies, Royd Farm is the perfect place to breed our Pedigree Dexter Cattle. Our lush grass meadows have hardly changed over the decades, providing sweet grass and red clover to slowly help to grow our cattle to maturity.
Not only is it home to our cattle and sheep, the fields surrounding Royd are host to an abundance of wildlife. This ranges from many species of birds, wildflowers and a huge number of hares and rabbits.

Chris is our main man! He is responsible for the running of the farm, keeping everything running smoothly. Whether its re-building a dry stonewall or wrestling with sheep, Chris is the man who does it all. If you have any queries at all, don't hesitate to get in touch with this one of a kind guy.

Annie is another great member of our team. She is Chris' right hand man, getting her hands dirty when the time is right. In addition, Annie takes all the photographs that we publish, capturing everything that we love about Royd. BONUS: It'll be her smiling face greeting you with your orders, if that's not a reason to buy from us, we don't know what is!
