Dexter Cattle are originally from Ireland but have spread across the globe. Unfortunately Dexters lost popularity as breeds that grow heavier, at a faster rate are favoured. However,what this breed may lack, its quality is above and beyond.
It takes around 3 years to produce a fully matured grass fed Dexter. This may seem like a long time but it is completely worth it! The slow growing produces beautifully marbled meat with a deep crimson colour. This results in an unbeatable taste and a texture that melts in the mouth.
